Morning Hero (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a fun morning-routine app that helps children race through their get-ready tasks, beat their best time, and watch their progress grow. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app is designed to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
What we collect depends on how you choose to use the app:

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, the device camera or microphone, health data, or any advertising identifiers. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Guest mode
If you choose “Continue as Guest,” no account is created and your routine and progress are stored only on your device (and a temporary anonymous identifier is used by the sign-in service). This data is not linked to a personal identity and is removed if you uninstall the app.
3. How we use information
- To provide the core app experience — show your missions, time them, and celebrate your results.
- To personalize encouragement (e.g. greeting the hero by the name you entered).
- To calculate stats, streaks, and a personalized pace “coach” from your own past times.
- To securely back up and sync your data across your devices when you are signed in.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making with legal effects.
4. Children’s privacy
Morning Hero is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children beyond what a parent chooses to enter (such as an optional first name) and the routine/timing data generated through normal use. Account creation uses the parent’s or guardian’s Google account.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information without your consent, contact us at bssarankumar@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
5. How information is stored & shared
Your data is stored locally on your device and, when you are signed in, in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication), which act as our service providers to host and secure your data. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
The third-party services the app relies on are:
- Firebase Authentication & Google Sign-In — to sign you in.
- Cloud Firestore — to store and sync your routine and progress.
These are provided by Google. Their handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Security
Data transmitted between the app and our service providers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your synced data is restricted to your own authenticated account by security rules. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
7. Data retention & your choices
- Delete your data in the app: the app includes an option to delete your account and all associated cloud data from within the Profile screen.
- Request deletion by email: you can also email bssarankumar@gmail.com from your account address and we will delete your account data.
- Guest data: uninstalling the app removes locally-stored guest data from your device.
- Access & correction: you can view and edit your routine, times, and profile name directly in the app at any time.
We retain your synced data for as long as your account exists; once you delete your account, the associated data is removed from our active databases.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, provide a notice in the app or store listing.
